Sarah Beth and I volunteered Sunday at the EMHE (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) site with
Another Broken Egg, (ABE) a favorite local
café for breakfast and brunch. ABE provided the 6:00 pm dinner and they welcomed us to join them in serving the EMHE volunteers. The ABE family and staff prepared a super meal - and even offered a vegetarian option!
Another Broken Egg also provided the 2:00am meal earlier that day. Many of the EMHE volunteers who had been at the 2am meal raved about the delicious omelets ABE had prepared!
We were amazed at how organized EMHE is. It is humbling to see so many people come together to help the Kadzis family. Be sure to visit
